Greening the Red is the brainchild of two BIPOC vagina owners: Hope Cheeks and Tarita Thomas. Our goal is to cultivate a like-minded network of both vagina and non-vagina owners who are committed to building a healthier, shame-free, and environmentally sustainable menstrual product industry.
Leafscore reported in Summer 2020 that the U.S. sends almost 20 billion pads, tampons and applicators to landfills each year.
